  • Locations south and east of the Capital Area

What to Do During a Flood Watch

During a Flood Watch, you should:

  • Be aware of the risk of flooding in your area.

  • Have an emergency plan in place, including an evacuation route and a safe place to go if you need to leave your home.
  • Gather important documents and valuables in a waterproof container.
  • Elevate furniture and appliances to higher levels.
